Scope of application
Spot compact “Filcon” bag filters are intended for direct dust suppression in transport equipment (belt, chain conveyors, elevators). They can be used for aspiration in bunker weighing or in places of transshipment / transfer of granular product.
Operating principle
The local filter “Filcon” creates a weak vacuum in a hermetically sealed active device. Thus, a weak negative pressure is created which prevents the entry of dust particles through the slots or openings. The vacuum is created by a fan that sucks air through a filter section installed directly on the device. Dust accumulates on the outside of the filter bags and will flow back into the product flow during automatic cleaning of the sleeves.
Temporary cleaning parameters are set by a microprocessor controller depending on the input dust content, filtration rate and filter hydraulic resistance. Optimization of the set parameters is carried out during commissioning works at the steady state operating mode of the filter.
Benefits:
- simple replacement of filter sleeves;
- minimum dust circulation (due to the large inlet, small flow rates are achieved);
- due to the return of dust back into the stream, mixing of various products and product loss is prevented;
- resistance of the filter and its components to pressure drops;
- compact design;
- the fan is mounted directly on the filter housing; therefore, auxiliary exhaust devices are not required.
